Otaku Noir is a quarterly mystery box that provides “readables” aka. books (comics, manga, graphic novels, and more), apparel, posters & collectibles to fans of diversity. All items are created by artists, writers, and other creators of color.

It is an amazingly easy process! Choose your preferred shirt & sock size and complete your purchase. 

Every quarter (3 months) we’ll send you a brand-new box full of content created by talented creators of color from around the world!

Our shirts vary from XS – 5XL. Our socks also come in a variety of sizes. Please use our sizing chart to find the best fit for you.


The dimensions of each Otaku Noir Collection box may vary, but typically the box is 11.25” x 9” x 3” with a weight of 3lbs – 6lbs. All weights and dimensions are approximate numbers and are not exact.

You are billed immediately upon completion of your initial order. 

The subscription is set to auto-renew unless you manually suspend or cancel prior to the renewal period. If you do not want to auto-renew, log into your account and suspend your subscription.

Auto-renewal period is the 1st day of the 3rd month.

February 29, May 27, August 27, November 27 are the cut off dates to purchase a box.

For example, if you order after February 29th, then you will not receive the March box. You will receive the June box.

Shipments are scheduled to go out no earlier than the following dates:

  • March 12th – 19th 
  • June 12th – 19th
  • September 12th – 19th
  • December – 12th – 19th

The time between cut off date and ship date allows us to properly fulfill each customers order with the uniquely curated content.

You will be sent an email containing a tracking number once it has left our facility. 

Please keep in mind that it may take up to 7 business days for packages to be delivered to domestic customers and up to 4 weeks for international orders to clear customs. 

 If you have reason to believe that your order may have been lost in transit, please Contact Us and we will be happy to help.

If something in your box was damaged during shipping, or if something is missing from your box please email us ( and we’ll be happy to help resolve the matter.
Contact us within 3 business days of your order being delivered. In your email, provide your order number, photos of damaged items, and a description of the problem.

Yes! After your purchase, you can go into your My Account page to pause, renew, or cancel your subscription.

You should receive an order confirmation email within 10 minutes of placing your order. If you have not received it by then, please check in your email’s junk or spam folder. To ensure that you receive all future updates, please add and to your email provider’s whitelist.

To change your order, please contact us immediately at If your payment is prior to the cutoff date, we can make the appropriate changes (shipping address, apparel size) to your current order. 

Once the cutoff date has passed, a refund is not possible.

Within the My Account page, you are able to view all purchases and subscriptions.

  1. After entering the My Account page, select the Subscription link on the left side.
  2. You can now see all of your purchased subscriptions. Select View option to find more details about your subscription. 

Within the Subscription details page, you can modify your subscription by changing the payment type, the mailing address and even renewing, pausing or cancelling the subscription.
